Welcome to OUR SHED
Since 2015, the Auckland Central Community Shed has welcomed people from all walks of life who are keen to share skills, learn from others, and enjoy a sense of community. Nestled in the historic Gribblehirst Park, our Shed provides a unique space where teamwork, creativity, and connection thrive.
Also known simply as The Shed, we’re a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to bringing people together through hands-on collaboration.
Our members come together to socialise and work cooperatively on a wide range of interests, from woodworking and engineering to electronics and beyond. While members often pursue their own projects, we also encourage everyone to contribute to community projects and help with the day-to-day running of The Shed.
