WORKING WITH OUR COMMUNITY

Our Members’ skills and experience are diverse, and this is reflected in our local community support. Our primary focus is to help other community groups with their projects but we can sometimes help individuals to fix their pre-loved items too if we have Members around who'll volunteer to help.
We welcome other charitable organisations to approach us, though if you’re not sure if your project is something we can help with, feel free check out our project acceptance guide or just come along and have a chat with us.
To help pay for our overheads, we usually ask individuals for a koha (donation) and not-for-profit organisations are charged at a modest hourly rate plus the cost of any materials.

We get many requests to make these but the cost usually makes them a wish rather than a reality.
